Canaletas consolidates its commitment to local sport through new sponsorship agreements including the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona, AE Prat Football Club, and support for the racing team Quina Liada Team. All of this takes place in a very special year for the company, which celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2025.

This relationship with sport is no coincidence. Canaletas water coolers and dispensers are designed for intensive use: they are durable and particularly suitable for sports environments.

Renovation of equipment at the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona

Canaletas is proud to be part of the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona’s family of sponsors, as officially announced by the Club last October.

In August, a renovation plan for the water coolers was carried out, including those located on the tennis courts, which were replaced with more modern and efficient models.

Thanks to this renovation, the Club now has Canaletas water dispensers featuring the latest innovations and complying with current regulations on fluorinated gases (Regulation (EU) No. 517/2014). The new refrigerant gas used is more sustainable and environmentally friendly.

The new water fountains supplied by Canaletas offer a higher flow of cold water, enable easy bottle filling, offer three temperature options, and incorporate a patented hygienic spout, unique on the market for its advanced features. Thanks to these improvements, Club members now benefit from more comfortable, efficient, and user-friendly water points.

Canaletas water coolers are entirely manufactured in Barcelona, Catalonia, allowing for a fast and responsive service tailored to the Club’s needs.

With these improvements, the Club reaffirms its commitment to sustainability, energy efficiency, and the well-being of its members.

Sponsorship agreement with AE Prat football club for the next three seasons

At the same time, AE Prat football club and Canaletas have formalized a sponsorship agreement for the next three seasons. Through this partnership, the Club reinforces its commitment to improving the daily experience of its players.

 The agreement includes:

• The installation of new Canaletas water fountains at the Club’s facilities, enhancing comfort and hydration for players and members.
• Sponsorship of the first team’s press conferences, reinforcing Canaletas’ presence in communication events.

This collaboration reflects the shared goal of both organizations: supporting players, their families, and the sporting community.

Sponsorship of the Quina Liada Team participating in the Oncotrail 2025 race

Canaletas was pleased to sponsor the Quina Liada Team in the race organized by the Girona Oncology Foundation. The relay team successfully completed the 100 kilometers of Oncotrail 2025 in a time of 15 hours and 55 minutes, a result that demonstrates their effort and teamwork.

Oncotrail is a team race organized by Fundació Oncolliga Girona together with Agrupació Excursionista Palafrugell and Club Atlètic Palafrugell. The route covers approximately 100 km, with both the start and finish in Palafrugell, on the Costa Brava.

Oncotrail 2025 brought together more than 3,000 participants, and the funds raised were allocated to improving the quality of life of cancer patients and supporting research projects.
