Canaletas has had several consecutive years of growth in invoicing, and is also pleased to celebrate its 55th anniversary this year. The manufacturer, with headquarters in Barcelona, has specialised in the production of water coolers since being founded in 1965, and is one of the leading manufacturers in this sector in Europe.
Canaletas water coolers have always been distinguished by their great durability, with an average lifespan of over 30 years, greater than average in the sector; even when installed in the most demanding environments of climate and use, such as outdoors in many countries with tropical climates, and high transit public spaces.
Along with exceptional durability, Canaletas offers models distinguished by their elegance such as the POU 9ID series in stainless steel, high-capacity models for the HORECA market, models with fully hands-free use, and a total of over 40 different models with different features.
In addition to standard production, Canaletas has specialised in developing personalised projects for large accounts, offering its R&D department, the experience it has acquired over the years, and production characterised by its great flexibility.
Of the total production, 40% is exported, mainly to Europe, North Africa and the countries of the Middle East, as well as Central America and various other regions. It has over 800 distributors around the world, with which it maintains relationships strengthened over the years.
Canaletas pays special attention to quality control. Therefore all water coolers (without exception) are connected to the water network to check their main parameters. An external laboratory regularly checks the water quality, and for greater safety, all water coolers are sanitised using the CANVAP method, validated in accordance with WE protocols.
Faced with the current situation regarding Covid-19, the Canaletas R&D department has been working intensely for the last few months to offer its clients safer, more hygienic water coolers. What differentiates Canaletas is offering the client two possibilities:
- Choosing between new hands-free by remote or pedal control water coolers.
- Converting existing water coolers in hands-free units, through an economical kit. Canaletas is also the only manufacturer which has developed extra-protectors specifically manufactured for all its water jets and taps.
