"El Prat Empresarial" is an Association created by a group of  businessmen of El Prat de Llobregat (Barcelona) with order to give representation to companies in the municipality.

Hand in hand with a group of entrepreneurs from El Prat de Llobregat has become "El Prat Business", an entity created with the aim of representing businesses located in the municipality. Jordi Morera , Director General of Canaletas, was elected President of the Association.

Mr Jordi Morera, has also positions of responsability in organizations related to water coolers as ADEAC (Spanish Bottle Water Cooler Association) from which is a member of the board and treasurer, Aqua Spain (Spanish Association of Water Treatment),member of the water for human consumption or a more general associations as UPM (Metallurgical Employer Association),where is part of the goverment board.

The initiative has arisen from the need of grouping forces and interests of entrepreneurs from the industrial sector of the city and find institutional cooperation to boost business and therefore the economy of El Prat.

The goal of "El Prat Empresarial " is to form the unity between employers and gain notoriety for developing a set of activities to promote, coordinate, represent and defend the general and common interests of all businesses located in El Prat de Llobregat.

The geographical location of El Prat de Llobregat near Barcelona, airport and harbor, favors the development of industrial activity, accounting for 2% of Gross National Product in the region of Catalunya (INDESCAT, 2008).

It is also active member of the main European water cooler and water treatment associations. 

Currently, Canaletas is the most experienced manufacturer of water coolers and drinking water fountains in Europe and is characterized by its innovative spirit, this can be seen by the numerous patents that have been registered throughout its 45 year history. The company is now run by the second generation and is notable for the quality of its products that stand the test of time and offer a "life cycle" superior to most other water coolers and drinking water fountains on the market.
