The Barcelona-based company, which has over 50 years’ experience in manufacturing water coolers and drinking fountains, is present in more than 50 countries and works with more than 800 distributors around the world.
It attributed the growth in exports to its growing presence in Middle Eastern countries; in addition to being selected for new projects in Saudi Arabia, where Canaletas has increased its presence year on year, “the company’s water coolers have been selected by the new University of Kuwait, scheduled as one of the largest centres of education in the world”.
“We have put our efforts into increasing our income based on export growth,” explained Canaletas general manager Jordi Morera, “without forgetting the national market, which last year already noticed an improvement.”
The company, which emphasises the importance of research and development in meeting the needs and consumption habits of consumers in different parts of the world, makes more than 40 models of water coolers and drinking water fountains.
“The ability to adapt to customer needs, the creativity of our R&D laboratory and the experience gained over more than 50 years in the market has enabled us to stay and grow,” Morera added.
