PURIFYING FILTERS
Canaletas recommends using an active carbon filter to enjoy a high quality of drinking water. This filter removes bad tastes and odors that may be present in the water, such as chlorine and small particles or organic material.
FILTERS FOR DRINKING FOUNTAINS
Canaletas has selected these filters for the drinking fountains for their durability and filtering capacity.

CARTRIDGE C-117
Replacement for filters M-105 and M-115.
| Active carbon block filter with a 5µm and a working life of 22,000 liters of water or approx one year. It combines the functions of a sediment filter, which removes the small particles that may be present in the water, along with the properties of an active carbon filter to remove bad tastes and odors. A pre-filtration polypropylene layer extends the life of the filter. |

FILTERS FOR POU WATER COOLERS
Canaletas has selected these filters taking into account the specific characteristics of the POU water coolers.
GAC FILTER
This single unit filter is ideal for POU water coolers. These coolers are normally used with drinking cups and therefore the quantity of water consumed is usually less.
RECOMENDATION
Canaletas recommends changing the GAC filter once a year, especially before the summer season, but the frequency may need to be higher depending on water quality or the level of usage . |

ULTRAVIOLET (UV) WATER FILTERS
Designed to kill/inactivate 99.9% of harmful bacteria (i.e. Coliforms, Faecal & E. Coli), virus, Fungi Algae such as hepatitis, influenza, Legionella and other possible microorganisms. Its use is recommended when the amount of chlorine in the water is very low, poorly controlled waters or in environments with increased risk of infections. Output: 6 watts. Sterilization capacity of up to 4 liters per minute. With an approximate life of 6,000 hours. The color changing head light indicates the need to change the lamp. The UV lamp is replaced very easily by simply unscrewing the top of the head.
REVERSE OSMOSIS FILTRATION SYSTEM
The reverse osmosis system can be intergrated into the cooler M77OI or it can also be installed for domestic use when purchased with a water storage tank.
The osmosis filtration system is a high capacity filtration system, which removes suspended solids,dissolved solids and microorganisms to ensure pure drinking water.
High water production at 250 litros/day.
High rate of incoming water usage at 35%.
RECOMENDATION
Canaletas recommends changing the pre-filter sediment every six months, the post filter and activated carbon filter once a year and the reverse osmosis membrane every two years. All filters may need to be changed more often depending on the quality of the water or the level of usage.
